2012 is here and I am ready for this new year. For today's Food Storage Friday post, I'm sharing a couple of recipes from the web that I've had my eye on. Both can be made with just non-perishable items and look amazing
I've tried making my own crackers before, but this tutorial for Matt's Crackers from Kath Eats looks like a real winner, I mean, he's a baker in real life, for pete's sake.
Ingredients: whole wheat flour, regular flour, yeast, water, kosher salt, olive oil, and cheese (optional)
These No-Bake Energy Bites from Smashed Peas and Carrots are food storage friendly and look delicious!
Ingredients: oatmeal, peanut butter, honey, coconut flakes, ground flax seed, chocolate chips, vanilla
And on the home front, I made Baked Oatmeal for breakfast this morning (so delicious!) and only used half milk replacing the rest with water and you couldn't tell a different at all. Give it a try, it's a delicious breakfast recipe.
Seen any good recipes floating around the web?
Let me know if you make these recipes and what you think?
