The Pioneer Woman is one of my absolute favorite blogs. I credit PW as (one of ) my blogging inspirations, and I was thrilled when she came out with her own cookbook.
In the cookbook are step-by-step photos of delicious recipes
as well as peeks into her daily life with amazing photographs.
My girls and I braved the crowds to meet PW and get my cookbook autographed.
It was awesome! Really, her beans and cornbread recipe changed my outlook on beans entirely. I didn't tell her so, I was far too star struck.
We'd like to giveaway a copy of PW's cookbook to one of our readers!

I love the PW! Her chocolate sheet cake, bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers, pork ribs - I love them all!
I'm not a follower of that blog, but I'm going to check it out now!
But I'll tell you what I'm doing for my Grandma for Christmas. She has EVERYTHING she needs, so I'm getting her a blank journal, along with a list of things for her to write about. Some examples are things like: What did your family do for Christmas when you were a child? Did Santa Clause/Easter Bunny/Tooth fairy ever visit your house? What memories do you have of the Great Depression? etc.
She journals everyday, and I thought this would be a great way for her memories to live on after she passes.
One of my favorites is her Turkey Pot Pie. We are having it for dinner tonight! :)
How do I pick a favorite? Crash hot potatoes, chocolate sheet cake, Pastor Ryan's Chicken Tikka Masala, I could go on.

What?! I have to tell you what I'm giving? My mom and sister read this blog - AND they're who I picked this year (gift rotation)!
Hmm. My kid brother's getting a flash drive that my work was giving away (you know trinkets and trash with your employers name stamped all over it that they give out for job fairs/conferences/etc).
Everything she makes sounds awesome, but I have never tried anything! This book is on my Christmas list - how awesome would a signed version be???
I am giving cute mugs I snagged on clearance last year with Vanilla Chai Tea (the ingredients are part of my food stoage, because I don't want to have to live without it :-)) tied with a ribbon.

I was so blown away by her post on strawberry jam that I took her recommendation on a canning book and bought it. I'd love to have more Pioneer Woman help!!!
I've never tried any of her recipes but I'll look into it. For Christmas I decided to try to not give a single gift card and I've enjoyed it a lot. My gifts range from dragon castles to books and tennis rackets. Nothing special but a bit more thoughtful.

Not a follower, but after reading all the comments I guess I should be.

My husband and I are giving some hand knitted sweaters to a number of people.
I really like the new look and format of your blog.
I haven't tried any of PW recipes, so can't name a favourite.
But for Christmas I'm making quite a few gifts. Mostly practical things like a knitted hat, headband, gloves, and dishclothes. I'm also sewing gift bags, some for "wrapping" gifts but also some as the gifts themselves.
Blackberry Cobbler. This would make a great gift for my husband, he is always going onto her site looking for new recipies.
It's all about her roasted asparagus. I have my entire inlaws addicted to them.
I've loved every recipe of hers I've tried! Most recently I made her pasta with tomatoes and artichokes for my daughter's birthday and it was a big hit.
Not a follower yet but will be. I paid off my in-laws water bill for them for christmas. They don't need anymore junk. Practical gifts are always better.
Ok, this is going to be a little silly but my kids love it. We like PW's egg in a hole. It's really yummy and a great egg and toast experience. We call it the pop eye. IDK why but it's what we call it.
Love love love the Pioneer Woman, and my favorite is Marlboro Man's Favorite Sandwich. AND I love the new look on your blog! Great job!
And....I added your new button to my blog!
I like them all - and her irreverant sense of humor. I also like her tasty kitchen web site (the apple cake recipe rocks!)
I _LOVE_ PW!! I haven't actually made any of her recipes yet, but love her photos & humour.
This year, I bought a cd for a friend when I was at a concert & I think he'll love it. My gift to my sister was going to concert with her. (otherwise she'd have to pack it into her suitcase for an international flight & dust it!!) For my mother, I'm looking for a fabulous cardigan.
Every year I buy presents for kids on the "Giving Tree""--just pick a tag with the age/gender/gift idea. I'm going to pick one or two tags tomorrow. (I don't have any kids, so I have a blast revisiting my childhood!)
:-)
And I'm hoping to put aside some $ this year to visit the local LDS cannery in the new year--my present to myself.
How's your list coming along?

Crash potatoes and the pastor's mushrooms! How can someone choose between those two! Heck, there's probably more to confuse me further, but luckily it's 3:30am and my brain is closed for the night. I'd pretty much be the happiest girl in the world if I won that cookbook.
I have never heard of PW, but I am making perpetual birthday calendars for my entire extended family for christmas. It has everyone's birthday and address/phone/email in it. THEY BETTER APPRECIATE IT!
Oh, and I updated your blog button on my blog! I haven't updated my blog in a few months, but by george, your button is current! http://candesjbs.blogspot.com/

I haven't read her blog often enough to have a favorite recipe. I'm giving my two year old daughter a broom that is her size. I'm getting tired of wondering what she's going to break by swinging mine around the kitchen. Now we can clean together.
My favorite is the chicken/spaghetti/cheese cassarole that she makes. My family loves it and it incorporates lots of food storage ingredients. A double winner.
I put your button on my blog (you have to scroll past the Chuck episodes).
http://mynooksandcrannies.blogspot.com/
I have never read her blog, but now plan to do so. Merry Christmas!
We are giving a bike to our 4 year old.

Haven't read her; we are giving my brother an iron-on apron that says "Brownie Master" :D
PW's cinnamon rolls are beyond de-lish! I gave them as gifts for people to eat on New Year's Morning and got rave reviews, just like PW predicted!
I honestly like all of her recipes, esp. her most recent shrimp pasta in foil. I am not a blogger but I read your blog and her blog daily, in fact many times a day!!!
OHHHH I hope I win her book, and thank you for a wonderful giveaway.

Ok so I'm in it for the PIONEER WOMAN COOKBOOK!
Bonus entry: This year I used a dehydrated soup receipe, placed the individual ingredients in snack size ziplocks, put all of the baggies in a large ziplock, made up a cute receipe card to slip inside the big ziplock. This makes a Huge pot of vegetable beef soup. And it will just sit on the pantry shelf waiting for the right time to go into the pot. No hurry but will come in really handy at the right time.
I love PW's site/blog, although I haven't had time for looking at it much lately. No fave recipes, though, sorry. Haven't had a chance to try making any of them, although I HAVE printed some out (good intentions!).
This year, I'm being frugal (sort of) and giving the few people on my gift list homemade Christmas cookies from my grandmother's recipes--the ones we've been making in our family since I was a kid. They're always a hit.
PS Now I'm trying to figure out how to make them (the cookies) food storage friendly! Just how good is butter powder, anyway?
My husband makes Peanut, Pecan & Cashew Brittle and that is what we give to all our friends. He makes 100 lbs every Christmas.
I loved the Texas Sheet Cake! I'm also giving food gifts this Christmas. I'm giving make-a-mixes like Taco mix, Onion Soup Mix, and muffin mixes!
Well I would have to say I would love her book. Although I do not follow her blog I do follow yours and have you button on my blog.
I love PW! And I really love her Chocolate Pie. Raw eggs and all. Talk about deliciousness on a fork. It's the best pie ever.
I added your button to my homepage: http://centralillinoisian.blogspot.com/
And did I mention I love PW!
Abs introduced me to the PW, love her and her Tres Leches Cake!!
I don't follow pioneer woman, but do stumble across her every now and again and always love what she's up to. And I always LOVE cookbooks with pictures.
I've made SO MANY Christmas gives this year. Some of my favorites have been fabric lunch bags, ABC bean bags, super hero capes, scarves, neck pillows (that's my "man gift" aren't men the hardest to shop/sew for??)
Merry Christmas!
carlyjane35@gmail.com
I follow her photography section of her blog, but haven't tried any of her recipes yet!! I am making my twin boys super hero capes.

It's hard to choose a favorite, but the cinnamon rolls are AWESOME!
I love her pan seared steak... at least I think that is what it is called. And I'm giving my mom the rubbermaid easy fit lids... a huge box of them. With the condition that she has to throw away or donate all of her 30 year old tupperware.
We're giving our 21 month old a felt board... and her Mommy is really excited about it.
i love her chicken spaghetti recipe and the texas sheet cake- yum! I hope I win!!
The pork roast is delicious and easy to make. The chicken spaghettis recipe is good too.
I have not had the pleasure of using a PW recipe before, but I think I will have to look her up! So, for the gift idea: my 8-year-old (and apparent future major leaguer) is getting a pitching machine this year.
And, I think I finally figured out how to add a button. You can see it just below the blog list at pabstadventure.blogspot.com. Enjoy!
I added your button to my blog:

Our family's favorite recipe is definitely the Enchiladas. Yum!
I had never heard of the Pioneer lady until I read your post so I can't say what my favorite recipe would be so I'll tell you what my people are getting for christmas. Cold weather gear and non electric entertainment (lots of games)
Fun Fun Fun!
This year I get to play santa for my niece and nephew. I am getting them new bedroom decor and spy gear, respectively. I would love to try the pioneer womans recipes.
I am giving photobooks of my kids for grandparents --I found some codes throughout the year that make them supercheap
I really want to make her cinnamon rolls. They look to die for!! Maybe one day I will actually have time to make them!
I was looking for a good french onion soup recipe..and I found it with the Pioneer woman. Thanks! I"d love to win the book!!
